Having been both the Snooker Room and the Morning Room, this fine and versatile room is now serving a variety of the Club’s needs.
It is an especially delightful and intimate setting for a variety of private gatherings, whether standing, seated for dinner or used theatre style for presentations for large parties. It still functions as a magnificent anteroom to the Ballroom when the great glass doors, which separate it from the staircase, are made to disappear behind their 19th Century panelling.
At other times it is set aside as a Drawing Room for the quiet enjoyment of members and their guests.
