Booking information

All bookings are accepted on a provisional basis only, until written confirmation has been received.

A deposit of the facility fee/room hire charge will be required to secure your booking. A further deposit of 95% of the estimated total is required 2 weeks prior to the event.

Final numbers should be confirmed two working days prior to the event. The invoice will be based on this number.

Provisional numbers of the people attending in the party should be given at the time of the booking but a firm number, upon which the invoice will be based, must be given 24 hours in advance, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

Menus: Please note that the chosen menu has to apply to all members of the party or numbers specified requesting meat or fish as a main course. Of course vegetarian options and special dietary requirements will be catered for. Menus must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance. Menu cards are provided.

Cancellation charges will be made on all confirmed bookings as follows:

4 months or less 50% of facility fee
2 months or less 100% of facility fee
2 weeks or less 50% of the estimated cost of the event

Damage caused to the club premises, its fixtures or fittings during your event will be charged for on a repair or renewal basis (whichever is deemed appropriate). Security can be arranged by the club to control entrance to your event, should you require it. The Savile Club strongly advises that event organisers take out insurance to cover possible damage, this insurance can also cover cancellation fees and other eventualities; details of event insurance can be obtained from the Events department.

The Savile Club accepts no liability for the personal property of members, guests or visitors.

A 15% service charge will be added to all bills and applies to food and beverage items.

Payment terms are 14 days from receipt of invoice.
