APERITIF CONCERT –

Aperitif Concert – The Cherubim Ensemble (Octavia Lamb flute, Gabriella Jones violin, Oscar Holch viola, Nina Kiva cello, Heather Brooks harp) perform Daniel-Lesur’s Suite Médiévale.

Written in 1943, this is a delightful work by a forgotten composer — remembered by history as a director of the Paris Opéra. With the support of a generous Savilian we hope produce a recording that will bring the Suite back into the repertoire in its rightful role as a complement to Ravel’s Introduction & Allegro.
