IMPROVISATION TO FILM BY STUDENTS FROM THE ROYAL ACADEMY FOR MUSIC

This concert presents seven talented students from the Royal Academy of Music improvising to silent film. All film is by nature silent, so these students will use material taken from silent period (1896 – ca. 1930) and from later films. The concert includes improvisations on short extracts of films across the genres of comedy, cartoons, romance and action films by two pianists, string and woodwind players.
