IRMINA TRYNKOS and TOMASZ LIS IN CONCERT

IRMINA TRYNKOS is an outstanding violinist hailed as ‘one of the most exciting soloists to have appeared recently’ (Classical Lost and Found) and ‘clearly one to watch’ (The Whole Note).
Her debut CD with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra became NAXOS’ best-seller with its coveted Supersonic Award. Her recent recording of Nimrod Borenstein’s Violin Concerto conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy has already received 5 star reviews from the likes of BBC Music Magazine and the Gramophone.

TOMASZ LIS is an exceptional pianist and chamber musician. Fanfare Magazine wrote of his debut album ‘Impromptus’ praising his ‘remarkable lightness of touch. His interpretations highly sensitive, but also engaging and communicative’. Tomasz has performed at the Wigmore Hall and South Bank Centre as well as on BBC Radio 3. Together they will perform Beethoven’s Op.12 and rarely heard Sonata No.2 by Busoni.
