In this special event, Lady Anne will discuss the inspiration behind the book and share stories that illuminate her remarkable journey: from her childhood at Holkham Hall and her role as maid of honour at the Coronation, to her decades as Lady-in-Waiting to Princess Margaret and her later career as a bestselling author. She will explore the lessons she believes matter most in today’s world, offering a thoughtful and entertaining perspective on living well at any age.

Lady Anne Glenconner was born into the Coke family of Holkham Hall and has spent her life closely connected to the Royal Family. She served as a maid of honour at the 1953 Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and later spent more than 30 years as Lady-in-Waiting to Princess Margaret. With her husband, Lord Glenconner, she helped develop the island of Mustique, welcoming artists, royalty and world figures. In her eighties she became a bestselling author with Lady in Waiting, followed by several acclaimed books. Her latest, Manners & Mischief, draws on a remarkable life filled with resilience, humour and unforgettable experiences.
