ROBBIE ROSS CELEBRATION DINNER IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE OSCAR WILDE SOCIETY

A dinner in celebration of the 150th birthday of Robert “Robbie” Ross, Savilian man of letters, devoted friend, erstwhile lover and literary executor of Oscar Wilde and mentor to the poets Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen; with speeches by Ross’s biographer, Jonathan Fryer; the president of the Oscar Wilde society, Gyles Brandreth; and

a reading by actor Edwin Thomas, who played Robbie in Rupert Everett’s film the happy prince.
