THE REPUTATION GAME – A TALK BY SAVILIAN DAVID WALLER AND RUPERT YOUNGER

Savilian David Waller and co-author Rupert Younger have written The Reputation Game, about how reputations are created, sustained, destroyed and then rebuilt.  The authors look at leaders in business, the military and politics and how they achieve their goals.  They also examine how celebrities and criminals build and exploit their reputations to their own advantage.

David and Rupert, a professor at Oxford’s Said Business School will talk about how in this modern era, reputations now precede and follow people, both on-line and in other social networks.  Also, that reputation is a major component of everything, for example in relationships and decision making in the corporate world.

They will explain how the game works; laying out the rules and winning strategies.  It shows how some individuals rebuild shattered reputations and how some never recover and begins with the idea of how to ask the right questions for the kind of reputation wanted.
