Alexander Larman is a historian, author and journalist who most recently visited the Savile in 2021 to discuss The Crown in Crisis with David Oldroyd-Bolt. He broadcasts regularly about the Royal Family – in both contemporary and historical incarnations – and his third and final book in the so-called “Windsors trilogy” will be published by Weidenfeld  & Nicolson in spring 2024, taking the story up to the Coronation in 1953.
